The AFM has 2400 ordained pastors – of which a substantial (and growing) amount is women. Most of them are leading assemblies. An increasing number are however co-pastors focusing on specific areas of ministries. Apart from the traditional pastoral tasks like preaching, pastoral care, conducting of meetings and sacraments, pastors are principally expected to train and assist members for their ministries.

The responsibility of training pastors lies with our Education and Training Department.
